A WTH ACKnowledgement loaded with Barack Derangement Syndrome

Why would anyone with half or less of a brain put this as an ACKnowledgement in their book?  When hundreds of people will be reading it thinking Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? It would ruin the book for me. I have a low tolerance for anything pro-0bama considering the media tries to bombard us with it daily.

Most names were redacted to protect the innocent.

This book was published in 2009 and I wonder if the writer of this novel still feels the same way?

Any wonder why 0bama was elected?  The writer of this novel looks to be a classic person with some white guilt or was silly enough to believe the "Historical election" bull shit.

This post was inspired by my Wife who enjoyed the book until she read the ACKnowledgements page.  The perils of reading today.

Jerry Terrell Jackson executed

Virginia serves Justice.

JARRATT, Va. — A man who raped and suffocated an 88-year-old woman was executed, becoming Virginia's first inmate to be given a lethal injection using a revised three-drug cocktail.

Jerry Terrell Jackson, 30, was pronounced dead at 9:14 p.m. Thursday at Greensville Correctional Center.

Asked if he had any final words, Jackson shook his head and said "no" under his breath. As he waited for the drugs to be administered, he tapped his foot as he lay strapped to a stainless steel gurney. The execution team took about 15 minutes to insert two intravenous lines, one into each arm. Within four minutes of the lines being inserted, he was pronounced dead.

Jackson was sentenced to death for the 2001 rape and murder of seamstress Ruth Phillips in her Williamsburg apartment.

Like other states, Virginia recently replaced sodium thiopental with pentobarbital after a nationwide shortage of the sedative, which is administered before two other drugs that stop the inmate's breathing and heart. Attorneys in some states have contested the use of pentobarbital, but federal courts have ruled the change is not significant enough to stop executions.  Read more at Chron.

Back at it and starting with this, Economic Mess.

That sounds like his overall performance to date doesn't it?

Yeah, it just keeps getting worse with everything the minister of Hope and Change has 0bamaized.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Turmoil returned to the stock markets on Thursday, as renewed concerns about the U.S. and global economies sent major indexes plunging and pushed gold to a new record high.

Investors rushed to move their money into safe U.S. government bonds -- and yields on the benchmark 10-year Treasury fell to a record low below 2%.

Investors were walloped by bad news on multiple fronts: Morgan Stanley put out a dismal forecast for global economic growth. A key reading on housing came in worse than expected. And a report showed a significant slowdown in manufacturing.

"We had a couple days to stabilize and breathe, but you forget that it's a war zone out there and there's just too much uncertainty about the economy," said Frank Davis, director of sales and trading at LEK Securities.

The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 457 points, or 4%, after falling as much as 528 points. The S&P 500 was down 51 points, or 4.3%; and the Nasdaq Composite lost 116 points, or 4.7%.

All 30 members of the Dow were in the red, with Bank of America shares plunging 8%. Only four members of the S&P 500 were trading higher.  Read the rest of 0bama's mess here.
It is damn depressing watching him do his damage of government over growth and over regulation.

Martin Robles Executed

Texas serves Justice.

Martin Robles, 33, was executed by lethal injection on 10 August 2011 in Huntsville, Texas for the murder of two people in their home.

On 12 November 2002, Robles, then 24 and Joe "Magic" Padron, 26, entered a Corpus Christi house in the early morning and shot two occupants - John Commisky and Jesus Gonzalez, both 19 - to death. They then went outside and drove away in a maroon Chevrolet Trail Blazer. A third occupant of the house, Antonio Ortiz, called 9-1-1 after the killers left.

The autopsies determined that Gonzalez had been shot at least fifteen times, mainly in the head, while Commisky was shot at least fourteen times, mostly in the back. They were both shot from a distance of no more than two-and-a-half feet.

At Robles' trial, Ortiz testified that he was asleep in the front of the house when he heard shots being fired. He got up and looked down the hall to see two men dressed in black and wearing masks, shooting at Commisky and Gonzalez. Ortiz testified that even though the shooters were wearing masks, he recognized them as Robles and Padron based on their builds and his previous encounters with them. He also testified that he saw the men removing their masks after they got in their vehicle, and he recognized Robles as one of the men who removed his mask.   Link
