Humberto Leal Executed

Texas serves justice with the execution of Humberto Leal.

In Texas if you kill a U.S. citizen then you die by the state. Now if only there was a penalty like this for those criminal aliens.

The state of Texas executed Humberto Leal Garcia, 38, on Thursday, hours after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected a bid by the Obama administration to spare the life of the Mexican national accused in the 1994 rape-murder of a San Antonio teenager, the Associated Press reported.

An attorney for Leal, Sandra L. Babcock, criticized the court's decision.

“Today the United States stumbled in its commitment to the rule of law. Mr. Leal, tragically, will suffer the consequences. He will be executed tonight, despite the fact that his right to consular assistance was violated. If he had had the assistance of the Mexican consulate at the time of trial, Mr. Leal would have had a meaningful opportunity to show that he was not guilty of capital murder," a statement from Babcock said. Lawyer Babcock needs to understand that he was found guilty by a jury of his peers. His sentence was death and that was what he got, unlike Casey Anthony.

  1. We didn't stumble in the least when it comes to the rule of law. We ran with it.

As Mark Levin put it this afternoon, the feds are suing Arizona to stop a law that requires police to ask about citizenship status, yet they apparently think we should ask about that status given their spirited defense of Mr. Leal.

So which do you want, you federale bastards? Ask or don't ask? How about you just keep your butts out of the business of the States and the People?

  2. Justice was served here, but really I don't feel like it was in the Casey Anthony trial.

I've been wanting to ask you. What did you think about it?

  3. The Truly Sad thing about all of this is that Texas taxpayers supported his sorry ass for 17 years in prison. No doubt going through appeal after appeal with taxpayer money and his taxpayer funded public attorney.

  4. God does not bless killers. He clearly stated in his commandments: Thou shall not kill. It includes the the governor of the great state of Texas and its citizens. At the last judgement don't bet your eternal soul that you will be forgiven
