Thomas Warren Whisenhant Executed.

Justice was served in Alabama tonight.

ATMORE, Ala. -- Murderer Thomas Warren Whisenhant's long stay on Alabama's death row ended peacefully this afternoon, in stark contrast to the horrific violence he inflicted on his victims.

Whisenhant, 63, said nothing before he was injected with the cocktail of drugs that sapped the life from his body. A doctor pronounced him dead at 6:20 p.m.

The Prichard native died three days short of his 32nd anniversary on death row at Holman prison, where he was the longest-serving inmate on death row. He became the 241st prisoner executed in Alabama, and the first since Max Landon Payne was put to death in October.  Al.com

In stark contrast to the horrific violence he inflicted on his victims. He got off easy. Murderers are first rate cowards of the lowest level.

John Avalos Alba Executed

Texas served justice last night.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) — "I wish I could go back and change it, but I know I can't."

Those were some of the last words of 54-year-old John Alba before he was executed in Huntsville tonight for barging into a suburban Dallas apartment and killing his estranged wife.

Alba also addressed his son and daughter, who watched through a window. He told them, "Just tell everyone I love them. Y'all will be OK. I will too."

With that, he said, "OK, warden. Do it!" My FOX Houston

Teh One is tanking

You have to expect it with his handling of the oil spill in the Gulf.  Even the morons that voted for his ass is slowly waking up. Did you really expect anything from the fraud in the white house?

He sucks. He is a disgrace. He needs to be rendered inept in November if there is a world left in November.

Samuel Langhorne Clemens Autobiography

 After 100 years.

Exactly a century after rumours of his death turned out to be entirely accurate, one of Mark Twain's dying wishes is at last coming true: an extensive, outspoken and revelatory autobiography which he devoted the last decade of his life to writing is finally going to be published.   The Independent

I am interested in reading this.

Darick Demorris Walker Executed

A classic example for the electric chair in my opinion. The murderer feels he is "mentally unfit" to pay his debt to society. Too bad dirt bag, pay up.

JARRATT, Va. (AP) - A Virginia inmate who killed two Richmond men in separate shootings has been executed.

Thirty-seven-year-old Darick Demorris Walker died by injection at
9:24 p.m. Thursday at Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt.  WTOP

Justice was served.

Gerald James Holland Executed

He had 24 more years of life than his victim who was 15. Yes he is a sorry example of a man indeed. Good riddance.

Condemned inmate Gerald James Holland apologized to the family of his victims in his final statement before being executed.

“I want you to know I am sorry,” said Holland, who blamed his actions on alcohol, despair and his temper.

Holland raped and killed 15-year-old Krystal Dee King of Gulfport in 1986.

Earlier in the day, Corrections Commissioner Chris Epps said Holland had accepted his fate.

At 6:14 p.m., Holland was pronounced dead. clarionledger

Paul Everette Woodward Executed

Mississippi has executed a scumbag tonight.

PARCHMAN — Deathrow inmate Paul Everette Woodward was executed this evening 23 years after he was condemned to die for killing 24-year-old Rhonda Crane of Escatawpa.

Woodward was pronounced dead at 6:39 p.m.

Before 6 p.m., Gov. Haley Barbour sent a letter to Mississippi Department of Corrections Commissioner Chris Epps saying he denied clemency for Woodward, 62.

None of Woodward’s family members was present for his execution. Woodward also had no visits from relatives in his final days. clarionledger

Justice was served.

Rogelio Reyes Cannady Executed

Texas has executed Texas prisoner #999245 (AKA Rogelio Reyes Cannady).

HUNTSVILLE, Texas -- Condemned Texas prisoner Rogelio Cannady has been executed for killing a cellmate while already serving two life sentences for a double murder.

The 37-year-old Cannady didn't deny fatally beating his 55-year-old cellmate with a belt and padlock in October 1993. But he insisted the attack at the McConnell Unit prison in South Texas was in self-defense from an unwanted sexual advance.  The Washington Post

And to think this hideous beast was allowed to blog after what he did to three people. His blogging thoughts are irrelevant as he cruelly murdered two teenagers and a fellow murderer. He needed to be decomposing ten years ago. Rather late than never.

Ouch

My hatred and loathing of spiders and scorpions is well known by all who know me. This can be said about all bugs, democrats and forum trolls as well. There are a couple of stories that solidify my position on this reasoning below.

I hope Cactus Mark gets back to a pain free existence soon. I still miss Arizona but I do not miss the eight legged critters.

Billy John Galloway Executed

Texas has executed inmate number #999349 (AKA Billy John Galloway). Hooray for Texas. Justice was served tonight.
HUNTSVILLE (May 13, 2010)—Billy John Galloway, 41, a South Dakota prison parolee who joined his former cellmate on a murderous cross-country crime spree that ended in Texas after the beating death of an Army officer, was executed Thursday evening in Huntsville.

Galloway had a long, violent history culminating in the slaying David Logie, 37, in September 1998.

The Army major from Fayetteville, N.C. was bludgeoned with a hammer and a tree limb behind a building in Greenville, about 50 miles northeast of Dallas.

Galloway’s codefendant, Kevin Varga, 41, was executed Wednesday evening.  KWTX

Michael Beuke Executed

Ohio executes murderer Michael Beuke.

(AP)   Ohio executed a hitchhiker Thursday who admitted to killing one motorist who gave him a ride and shooting two others during a three-week string of shootings that terrorized the Cincinnati area in 1983.

Michael Beuke, 48, died by lethal injection at 10:53 a.m. EDT at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville, about 90 minutes after the Ohio Supreme Court turned down his final appeal.

While on the gurney, Beuke recited the Roman Catholic rosary for 17 minutes before he died, choking back tears as he repeatedly said the Hail Mary. He also expressed his sorrow to the families of his three victims. CBS

Kevin Scott Varga Executed

I am truly glad it is God's job to forgive people. I could not have forgiven this murderous waste of humanity. That being said, I am glad he is dead.

HUNTSVILLE — A South Dakota parolee convicted of helping fatally beat and rob an Army officer before setting fire to his body 12 years ago was executed Wednesday in Texas.

Kevin Varga, 41, was upbeat and smiling as the lethal drugs were delivered into his arms.

“I know I took someone very precious to you,” he told the parents and friends of David Logie as they watched through a window. “I wish what was torn from you was not.”

He said he loved them, asked them for forgiveness but said he didn't require it “because God has forgiven me.”

“I hope you find peace,” he said.

He turned his head toward his mother, who watched through a window in an adjacent room, and told her he would “go to sleep and wake up with Jesus.”  From the Chron

Varga's murdering partner Billy Galloway gets his executed on Thursday for the same crimes.

Schooner Freedom

Today was a field trip day. We went to sail on the Schooner Freedom on this perfect day. It was some history, sailing knowledge and one heck great of a ride. The crew was attired in 1812 style navy uniforms. The weather was wonderful, about 80 degrees with about 15 knot winds. If any of you ever visit St. Augustine Florida consider taking one of the many sailing tours the city has to offer. I could not think of a better way of spending the day.
