Charlie Crist Translation Please

I hooked up the Charlie Crist Translator for his announcement to run as an Independent.

Let us look at what the paper quoted him as saying.

Mr. Crist told supporters in his home town of St. Petersburg that his decision to leave the Republican party is "the right thing for America" and "the right thing for Florida."
Translation: It is about me! I am an opportunist and a RINO. I could not win the Republican nomination. By reading the tea leaves I figure I can win as an Independent because it is all about me.

"My decision to run for the U.S. Senate as a candidate without party affiliation says more about our nation and our state than it says about me," Mr. Crist said. "Unfortunately our political system is broken. I think we need a new tone in Washington." NYT
Translation: It's all about me now since Rahm Emanuel failed to call me back.

Where in the hell have we heard the term "New tone in Washington" before? If I remember correctly, talk like that landed us a socialist white house in 2008.

Creeping Sharia has settled in Jacksonville

Our clueless Mayor (Weasel) Peyton has proven again what damage a lame duck mayor can do.

After a debate that included Dr. Parvez Ahmed being asked to "pray to your God," Jacksonville City Council confirmed the University of North Florida finance professor for a seat on the Human Rights Commission.

Council member Don Redman started a contentious debate by asking Ahmed if he was offended by prayers "in Jesus's name," like the prayer Redman read to begin the Council session.

Council member Stephen Joost countered Redman, saying he was offended by the line of questioning that focused on Ahmed's faith.

Ahmed is a Muslim and the former national chairman of CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

Being a former national chairman of CAIR speaks volumes in itself of why his nomination should not have been confirmed. Do musilms treat women as equal with humans rights?

How stupid are the appeasers that voted in favor of Parvez? Did the people that voted in favor of Parvez see what is happening in the muslim world? The human rights violations are too numerous to count. Yet here we are with a former CAIR national chairman sitting on the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission.

Who were the idiots that voted in favor of this?
Voting in favor of the confirmation were Bill Bishop, Reginald Brown, Council President Richard Clark, Michael Corrigan, John Crescimbeni, Ronnie Fussell, Johnny Gaffney, Art Graham, Kevin Hyde, Warren Jones, Stephen Joost, Denise Lee and Art Shad.
And who voted to oppose?
Council members Daniel Davis, Ray Holt, Glorious Johnson, Don Redman, Council Vice President Jack Webb and Clay Yarborough all opposed Ahmed's nomination. WOKV

Support the people who live there legally.

The people in Arizona who have to put up with the illegal aliens have spoken. Leave them alone. They have taken a stand against criminals crossing the border. The fact that the federal government (democrat or republican) have never bothered to take a stand in at least 15 years or have bothered themselves lately by doing anything about it. Now they are crying foul. Secure the borders and this would not be an issue.

You can bet the Resident Obama and his socialist machine will try to make hay out of this for the mid-term elections.

It is disappointing when Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush feel the need to disagree with the state of Arizona when they have no business commenting on this issue.

It looks like Marco and Jeb get a black eye for their stand on this.

Most Arizonans are tired of the Federal Government and it's complete inactivity on securing the borders by allowing these criminals that cross illegally and suck the lifeblood from the the State of Arizona. Samuel Bustamante Executed

Justice has been served in Texas.









HUNTSVILLE — Samuel Bustamante, sentenced to die for stabbing a man to death during a 1998 robbery in Rosenberg, silently went to his death in the state's execution chamber Tuesday.

The lethal drugs were administered at 6:14 p.m. He was declared dead eight minutes later.

Bustamante made no final statement. Four women, identified as Bustamante's friends, witnessed the execution. No victim's witnesses were present.

Bustamante killed Rafael Alvarado early on the morning of Jan. 18, 1998, after Bustamante and three companions spotted him walking near a Rosenberg tavern.

Bustamante's group had cruised the neighborhoods surrounding the city's bars in search of potential robbery victims.

After Alvarado, 27, accepted a ride with the men, Bustamante stabbed him 10 times. CHRON

Creeping Sharia even in Jacksonville

If this muslim went anywhere near CAIR then he has no business being on the JHRC (Jacksonville Human Rights Commission).

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The idea that University of North Florida professor Parvez Ahmed, a Muslim who headed up a national Islamic group, could serve a role in Jacksonville government has set off shock waves at City Hall.

The fuss started last week with controversial questions a city council member had for Ahmed concerning his nomination to serve on the Human Rights Commission.

It is slow infiltration. Once again Mayor (More Fees) Peyton is as clueless on this as he is on the numerous fees and rate hikes on fees. He seems to to think everyone in Jacksonville has very deep pockets and all are completely stupid. That is a story for another time.

Citizen Randy McDaniels sent council members a report that he said shows Ahmed's past position on the Islamic board in which he supported funding for terrorism.

"So he is not the civil rights leader you guys think he is and has no right sitting on the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission," McDaniels said.

Others dispute those findings and say the organization promotes acceptance and not terrorism.

Several people said they were worried because they believe Ahmed's appointment is just the first step.

"We are fighting a war on infiltration," citizen Mary Downey told the council.

Ahmed was at this week's council meeting but left before the public comments. News4JAX

William Berkley Executed

Texas executes a murderer/rapist.

William Berkley, convicted of the 2000 rape and murder of an 18-year-old woman, was executed in Texas by lethal injection on Thursday, the state's sixth execution this year, prison officials said.

Berkley, 31, who was convicted in 2002 of the rape and murder of Sophia Martinez, was pronounced dead at 6:18 pm (2318 GMT).

What was some of the the last things he said?

In his final statement, Berkley offered no apology for the crime of which he was convicted.

"Samantha, I love you with all my heart and soul," he said, addressing one of his friends. "Death before dishonor. Warden, let her rip," he said. More here.

To me it sounds like he had no regrets for his despicable acts.

Darryl Durr Executed

Ohio executed a murderer after 22 years. The murderer was 24 when he murdered a 16 year old girl.

The wheels of justice turn slowly sometimes.

It sounds like this murderer was allergic to execution.


WASHINGTON — Darryl Durr, 46, was executed Tuesday in Ohio for the 1988 rape and murder of a 16-year-old girl after the Supreme Court rejected a flurry of final appeals, including one claiming he was allergic to certain anesthetics.

Durr, an African American, was 24 years old at the time of the rape and murder in January 1988 of a 16 year old girl, a friend of the mother of his baby.

The victim's body was found three months later hidden in a ditch, and Durr was identified as the killer eight months later by his girlfriend, who said he raped and strangled the teenager with a dog leash. Source AFP

The RINO Crist strikes yet again

In this photo Charlie Crist (Rino) demonstrates how much longer his Florida political career will be.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Gov. Charlie Crist has vetoed a controversial bill that would have made it easier to fire Florida teachers and link their pay to student test scores.

Crist praised Senate Bill 6's goal of teacher accountability, he called the process by which the bill was passed "significantly flawed" and said it seriously damaged teacher morale.

The legislation was a priority for Republican legislative leaders and also former Gov. Jeb Bush, but was strongly opposed by Democrats, the Florida Education Association and others, including some of Crist's close friends and a family member.

The rest of this tragic tale of a victory by the teachers unions here. The children are assured of the same poor education for a while longer. Thanks Charlie for showing how completely RINO you really are.

A thought about Educators in Florida

Educators seem to have their knickers in knot.

It looks like Florida was serious about the Pay for Performance legistation. When I helped out in the classroom about half of the teachers (generally) did not play very well in the sandbox together. Now that Pay for Performance looks to be the future law in Florida the teachers are, Um, not happy.

"I could lose my teacher educators license if these kids don't make gains," one teacher complained from outside the Tallahassee committee room. "Does this encourage me to keep teaching this challenging kids? It's like spitting in my face."   SOURCE

Does this unidentified teacher educator (who is crying like a newborn babe) sound like anyone you would want to teach your child anything at all? I am sure with this response she could  teach educate the cry baby course very well indeed.

If you want to really fix the public school problem then simply get the unions, liberalism and the federal government out of the system. Since I doubt the federal government will get out of schooling we can still try to get the liberals and unions out. That would clean the decrepit state of Florida education.

This could be a very big first step into resolving a serious impediment in Florida schooling.

If there is any doubts

If there is any doubts that the Obama should be drummed out of office, this is as good a reason as any.

WASHINGTON — President Obama said Monday that he was revamping American nuclear strategy to substantially narrow the conditions under which the United States would use nuclear weapons, even in self defense.

All the halfwit monkeys that voted for this cowardly dullard should get to be in the first city where a nuke hits. It appears, his only goal is to provide something the Constitution does not declare (ObamaCare) while ignoring one of the things the Preamble declares "Provide for the common defense". I know, this gobshite could care less about the document that infringes on his ability to turn the United States into the third world toilet that happens to be Cuba or Venezuela.
