Friday's Quote

If America ever passes out as a great nation, we ought to put on our
tombstone:  America died from a delusion she had Moral Leadership.
---Will Rogers

  1. If Will Rogers felt this way back in the late 1920's, can you imagine what he'd have to say about the current state of our nation?

The word verification phrase is "lespit" as in "...lespit in the soup of that woman with the moustache and tattoos."

  2. From the grave, and dead on! Too bad Will Rogers isn't alive today, I'd love to see what he would do with the political satire!

  3. I wouldn't have liked Will Rogers.

  4. Greetings & Salutations, you Superior Scribbler, you! Melissa B. here, The Scholastic Scribe, & the "Original" Superior Scribbler! 2 things on my mind today: I've been nominated for a pretty prestigious blog award, and would greatly appreciate your vote; so if you click on over to my place, you'll see the info. It's an annual award from EduBlog, and I'm up for Best Individual Blog. And also, don't forget to come by tomorrow for the Silly Sunday Sweepstakes. Thanks for your support!

  5. Merry Christmas Admiral.

Thank you for taking the time to comment.
