Knickers in a knot?

Ann and Nancy Wilson seem to have their Knickers in  knot.

John McCain's campaign has suffered a Heart attack -- of the legal variety.

What a funny guy. Paul Walsh should have been a comedian. (NOT.) is reporting that Ann and Nancy Wilson are upset that their 1977 rock hit "Barracuda" was used without their permission in the Xcel Energy Center at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul.

The Heart duo has "fired off a cease and desist letter" to the McCain/Palin campaign, the gossip website is reporting this morning.

The years have not been kind to the Heart Sisters.

  1. To be honest, I was a little befuddled as to why the campaign used the song. It isn't a very good song to align to a candidate.

It is akin to when people use "Born in the U.S.A." It is not a patriotic song and isn't meant to be.

I don't think the people in charge of choosing the music have been reading all of the lyrics. They need to, though.

Careful thought should go into every aspect of the campaign; yes, even song choice.

I cringed when I heard the song used. The image in the song is not one you want attached to Palin: it is about corrupt, powerful people in executive positions.

  2. Btw., not saying she's corrupt. It is the image in the song you don't want to attached to someone of similar power standing portrayed in the song.

  3. Anyone that gets past the title would know the song is about a "Not very nice" Lady.

  4. WHOA....Can you say OINK.

  5. We all get old and not as pretty as we were when we were young. It happens. But is their song.

  6. I agree the song should not have been used.

They could have worded the press release better in my opinion.

Thank you for taking the time to comment.

Where are the Photo credits?

I find most the images uncredited on random sites, but I will add credits if someone lets me know who the has the rights to the image.
