I guess I could be labeled "A Typical White Guy."
FOX News has uncovered documents that indicate Wright is about to move to a 10,340-square-foot, four-bedroom home in suburban Chicago, currently under construction in a gated community.
That is roughly four times as big as Casa Del JAX and I am not in a gated community.
While it is not uncommon for an accomplished clergyman to live in luxury, Wright’s retirement residence is raising some questions.Accomplished? Accomplished at what, being a hate monger? There needs to be a Bible sized book of questions.
“This is about how these kinds of churches work,” notes Walsh. “These pastors who made big successful churches are real valuable commodities. Is it morally wrong? Well, Protestants don’t have the idea that their religious leaders should live modestly or aesthetically. We’re not talking Buddhist monks or Catholic priests here. There’s no tradition that says they have to live poor.”There seems to be a tradition of "Living It Up" though.

U.S. Based Revolution Muslim Website Spreading Messages of Hate
Wednesday, March 26, 2008
If RevolutionMuslim.com does not explain why we need to defeat radical Islam then you are hopeless and beyond help.
If you have time this is a great read.
I also never knew Gumby could save the free world. HOO-RAH.
Bill and Bob's Excellent Afghan Adventure
When things are constantly changing, as they have so many times during this deployment, there is a simple motto to keep us going; "Semper Gumby." Semper Gumby is Latin for "Always Flexible."
The ancient Greeks, the same good people who invented Latin, also invented Gumby. This was proven by the recent finding of a several thousand year old Gumby at the site of the battle of Marathon.
Okay... I made that part up. Except for the part about Latin. The Greeks did invent that. That part is true.

Mike Tomberlin's thoughts as he completes his Tour of Duty in Afghanistan. Some of the stories are humorous and some are gripping
This War and Me
Frontline Fobbit's account of his Tour of Duty in Iraq. He has not posted in a while since his Tour ended but I hope everything works out for him.
God Bless them all.
As I read these blogs I fear that each post may be a last post. In my opinion the sacrifice that these men and women make everyday should be recognized for their professionalism and courage.
By taking the War to the Islamic terrorists they keep the war away from me and my family.
How can it not be a huge victory when there have been no attacks on U.S. soil since Afghanistan and Iraq? If the terrorist were not over there, they would be over here. They will not give up until we convert to their perverted religion or are dead. Anyone that believes we can live in peace with the Muslim extremist is completely delusional.
I don't care about what happened past or what they think the U.S. did to them. People need to get over it and move on.

To me the two look nothing alike.
Will Smith has a rich bronze color.
Obama looks ghoulish to me with that pasty cadaverous coloring.
You can read all about it Here.
I also wonder why Mrs. Bill Clinton's campaign would want him touched (blackified) up in this ad.
You decide if they did or not.
Top still photo is from Mrs. Bill Clinton's ad.
The bottom three stills are from a televised debate.
With all the hoopla of Wright doing wrong for his campaign I wonder if we will see him lose the cool, calm and collected veneer. Will he lash out like a Democrat, or will he transcend petty politics since he is an agent of change in the Party of tolerance?

Everyone that feels we need to just "bring the Troops home" at any cost before the job is done, should read this post titled, "Sobering."
It is terrible to imagine that the people who want to "just get out now" may not have to pay the price of "just getting out now." Your children and grandchildren will absolutely have to pay the price. I do not want that for my daughter.
When it comes to the threat of radical Islam, I fear this generation will not have the strength, resolve and moral courage that the Greatest Generation had when they were faced with World War 2.
COLUMBIA, S.C. — Two female middle school teachers were arrested Wednesday on charges they got into a fight in front of students, officials said.
Eighth grade teachers Tawana Horton, 30, and Cambrella Pinckney, 28, bumped into each other during a hallway class change Friday afternoon at St. Andrews Middle School and began fighting, according to a report by the Richland County sheriff's department. The two teachers told an officer that they had an ongoing personal dispute, the report said.
The teachers were charged with disturbing schools and have been placed on administrative leave, deputies said.
"This occurred with students on the scene and they witnessed what happened," Richland School District 1 spokeswoman Karen York. "Teachers are looked at as role models. That doesn't set a good example."
Pinckney did not immediately return a message left at her home. A phone number for Horton could not be found. Deputies did not know if either of the women had attorneys.
York would not discuss if any disciplinary action had been taken against the teachers, but said officials are investigating the fight.
Possible punishments range from a letter of reprimand to firing, she said.
The two women have not returned to the school since the incident occurred, York said.
Horton taught at the school for one year, while Pinckney taught there for three years, York said.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. --
A St. Johns County school teacher was arrested on Monday after deputies said they found 66 marijuana plants growing inside his home.
Robert Krug, 29, an art teacher at Bartram Trail High School, was arrested after deputies searched his home in the 1000 block of Lee Street. Deputies and agents from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said they found an elaborate growing operation, a pound of processed marijuana and $6,000 in cash.
Authorities estimate the total street value of marijuana seized at $70,000

Police Shoot Suspect After Car Chase, SWAT Standoff Source
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --
A car chase that began in Nassau County ended Tuesday afternoon in the Arlington area, where a SWAT team surrounded a home and eventually shot a suspect.
A home in the 1200 block of Bellemeade Boulevard near the intersection of Townsend Boulevard and Lonestar Road was at the center of the SWAT standoff, during which 28-year-old Anthony Alexander Datri was shot.
The incident began in Yulee, Fla., where at about 3:50 p.m. the Nassau County Sheriff's Office was called to a home in response to a domestic violence situation that involved gunfire.
According to the Nassau County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrived at the scene as the suspect was fleeing the home in a vehicle.
They said the man took off, running deputies off the road. He was pursued as he traveled south and into Jacksonville.
Police broke off their pursuit of Datri on the Dames Point Bridge.

An 85-year-old man was requested by his doctor for a sperm count as part of his physical exam. The doctor gave the man a jar and said, "Take this jar home and bring back a semen sample tomorrow."
The next day the 85-year-old man reappeared at the doctor's office and gave him the jar, which was as empty as when he gave it to him.
The doctor asked what happened and the man explained, "Well, doc, it's like this -- first I tried with my right hand, but nothing. Then I tried with my left hand, but still nothing. Then I asked my wife for help. She tried with her right hand, then with her left, still nothing.
She tried with her mouth, first with the teeth in, then with her teeth out, still nothing.
We even called up Arleen, the lady next door and she tried too, first with both hands, then an armpit, and she even tried squeezing' it between her knees, but still nothing.
The doctor was shocked! "You asked your neighbor?"
The old man replied, "Yep, none of us could get the jar open."
The IRS decides to audit Ralph, and summons him to the IRS office. The IRS auditor is not surprised when Ralph shows up with his attorney.
The auditor says, 'Well, sir, you have an extravagant lifestyle and no full-time employment, which you explain by saying that you win money gambling. I'm not sure the IRS finds that believable.'
'I'm a great gambler, and I can prove it,' says Ralph. 'How about a demonstration?'
The auditor thinks for a moment and said, 'Okay. Go ahead.'
Ralph says, 'I'll bet you a thousand dollars that I can bite my own eye.'
The auditor thinks a moment and says, 'It's a bet.'
Ralph removes his glass eye and bites it.
The auditor's jaw drops.
Ralph says, 'Now, I'll bet you two thousand dollars that I can bite my other eye.'
Now the auditor can tell Ralph isn't blind, so he takes the bet.
Ralph removes his dentures and bites his good eye.
The stunned auditor now realizes he has wagered and lost three grand, with Ralph's attorney as a witness. He starts to get nervous.
'Want to go double or nothing?' Ralph asks. 'I'll bet you six thousand dollars that I can stand on one side of your desk, and pee into that wastebasket on the other side, and never get a drop anywhere in between.'
The auditor, twice burned, is cautious now, but he looks carefully and decides there's no way this guy could possibly manage that stunt, so he agrees again.
Ralph stands beside the desk and unzips his pants, but although he strains mightily, he can't make the stream reach the wastebasket on the other side, so he pretty much urinates all over the auditor's desk.
The auditor leaps with joy, realizing that he has just turned a major loss into a huge win. But Ralph's attorney moans and puts his head in his hands.
'Are you okay?' the auditor asks. 'Not really,' says the attorney.
'This morning, when Ralph told me he'd been summoned for an audit, he bet me twenty-five thousand dollars that he could come in here and piss all over your desk and that you'd be happy about it!

Man arrested in murder of U.S. Marine
TAMPA -- Cpl. Miguel Suarez served a tour of duty in Afghanistan and another in Iraq, but was killed a mile and a half from his childhood home early Saturday. Hillsborough sheriff's deputies say a 21-year-old gang member murdered the U.S. Marine in a botched robbery attempt.
Jonathan Sanabria, of 18425 Bittern Ave., saw Suarez, 25, walking home from a concert, said Sheriff's spokesman J.D. Callaway. Sanabria told deputies he wanted Suarez's gold chain and confronted him at gunpoint near the corner of N Himes and W Sligh Avenues.
The two scuffled before Sanabria pistol-whipped Suarez, shot him twice and left him lying in the street, Callaway said. Police arrested Sanabria Tuesday evening on a first-degree murder charge.
Suarez enlisted in the Marines in March 2003, the month the war began in Iraq. He served eight months each in Afghanistan and in Iraq. After his four-year contract expired this year, he re-enlisted and was assigned to a domestic post. He told family members he planned to make the Marines a life-long career.
Sanabria bears the tattoos of a member of the Gangster Disciples, a Chicago-based gang, Callaway said. Jail records indicate Sanabria was arrested last year in Hillsborough County on an armed burglary charge.

Is there anything I can do to help her, My Wife suggested that I tell her about Tough Love.
I searched the Web for information and as she said there is next to nothing as far as programs go for troubled teens who have not actually committed a serious crime at the county/city level.
Anything any of you can think of I am sure she would be happy to hear about. I have not been able to find out very much.
Thanks in advance.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Eight hours after being beaten in the head with a hammer, a 74-year-old Jacksonville man awakened and called 911 for help, police said.
Thomas Lewis remained in the hospital Wednesday, two days after the attack. Authorities said they've arrested the man's roommate, Willie Robinson, and charged him with the hammer attack.
Investigators said Robinson rented a room from Lewis in a Durkeeville home, but on Monday night they said he attacked Lewis, stole his wallet and locked him in his bedroom using a padlock to secure the door.
"He hit him repeatedly to the point he blacked out. He could've killed him," said Jacksonville Sheriff's Office spokesman Ken Jefferson.Police said Lewis blacked out for eight hours, and when he awoke he was able to call for help:
Victim: Send rescue to West 3rd Street.
Dispatch: Are you safe?
Victim: Yes Ma'am.
Dispatch: All right, hang on.
Dispatch: We have a Thomas Lewis. He called us this morning to advise that he was awakened from bed last night and was hit upside the head with a hammer when he opened the door.
Neighbors in the close-knit community where the men live said they are devastated. They said Lewis has lived in their neighborhood for 50 years.
"I heard the rescue. I came outside and saw them take Mr. Lewis," said neighbor Maxine Mathews. "Everybody's really sad about it. I've been upset about it, you know.
"Robinson is being held without bond in the Duval County Jail. (Source.)

OCALA, Fla. -- A 77-year-old man told a deputy he roughed up his 74-year-old wife because he was upset about the high cost of gas for driving her to and from dialysis treatments, according to police.
Authorities said Richard Close was charged with aggravated battery and battery on a person over 65.
Close said that his life turned upside down when doctors in Illinois placed his wife on kidney dialysis.
Roughing up his wife was interesting solution to the gas problem.
Over the Christmas holidays, the retired mechanic said his wife of 26 years went to visit her family. During the visit, doctors placed her on dialysis.
How was this the wifes fault?
Deputies went to the couple's home Thursday night because of an altercation. Close's wife told them that her husband had beaten her up, police said.
Close told police the couple's gas bill has climbed from $60 a month to $140 a month. (Source.)
A Tomoka Correctional Institution officer playing around with what he said he thought was an unloaded gun shot a bullet through his wife's back side and out just below her belly button, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.
Daryl Wayne Strand, 40, was arrested Sunday evening on a misdemeanor charge of culpable negligence.
Strand told deputies he was cleaning two handguns in their Palm Coast home and thought both were unloaded, according to the Sheriff's Office. His wife was in the kitchen when he walked up behind her and pointed the gun at her buttocks. The gun discharged and the bullet exited the woman's stomach. She was taken to Halifax Medical Center where she underwent surgery.
Strand was released from the Flagler County jail after posting $2,500 bail on the charge.

I had some less that stellar teachers and I never thought of doing this.
The sad thing about this story is, it was a girl.
Does it make you wonder what is happening to the "Fairer Sex."
MIAMI - A police report says a teenage girl tried to shoot a teacher in the parking lot of a private Opa-locka school but the gun she was using jammed.
According to police, the teenager also tried to set the North Dade Academy teacher's car on fire Wednesday.
The Miami Herald reports that the girl is facing charges of aggravated stalking with a firearm, violation of a stay-away order, aggravated assault and criminal mischief.
No further details were immediately available. From the AP
